HCHS Comet Softball Spring Warm-up Clinic
The HCHS Comet Softball Spring Warm-up Clinic will be a one-day, two-session clinic on Saturday, March 24, 2012 from 9:00 a.m.to 3:00 p.m. at HCHS. There will be a three-hour morning session from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and a two-hour clinic afternoon session from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The clinic is for ages 6 and up. HCPS Kindergarten Registration
DATE: Friday, March 2, 2012
TIME: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
PLACE: All county elementary schools
All children are eligible to enter school in 2012 if they are five years old by September 30. A physical examination and certain immunization shots are required before the first day of school. Physician’s forms will be distributed at registration.
Clays Mill Winter Wonderland Festival
Come one; come all to the Clays Mill's Winter Wonderland Festival to be held at Clays Mill Elementary School on Friday, November 18th, from 5:30-8:30 P.M. The festival will feature a variety of door prizes donated by local vendors and a vendor fair composed of over twenty vendors. Premier Jewelry, Thirty-One products, Amish baked goods, and Christmas crafts will be available. There will truly be something for everyone...food, games, gifts, and even pictures with Santa. Admission is $1.00 each for all individuals aged 13 and older. Admission is free to all Clays Mill students and children 2 and under; and, for all other children 3 to 12 years of age, there will be an entry charge of 50 cents each. Pictured are Mrs. Deitra Hart, coordinator, Mrs. Jo Powell, co-organizer, Ms. Sherry Cowan, principal, and third grade students examining many of the donations which will be given as door prizes.
Clays Mill's Winter Wonderland Carnival Coming Soon
Save the Date: November 18, 2011; 5:30 P.M. - 8:30 P.M. We will have our Winter Wonderland Carnival. This will be a fun event for all. We will have games, food, a Cake Walk, photos with Santa, and much, much more.

Clays Mill Elementary seeks parents to serve on its Parent Advisory Council. Clays Mill Family Reading Night
On Monday, September 26, 2011, Clays Mill will host a Family Reading Night for Clays Mill students and their parents. Parents will have an opportunity to learn more about School Wide Title I, the Accelerated Reader Program, and Reading across the content areas. Those in attendance will be served a hotdog dinner and will receive a homework pass for the night.
