Congratulations to the 27 Halifax County High School students who accomplished a 3, 4, or 5 on the Advanced Placement tests taken during the spring 2009 administration. The students are shown holding incentive checks they received for achieving a qualifying score on an AP exam.

The Halifax County Public Schools Education Foundation MINI-GRANTS FOR TEACHERS program is used to fund innovative and creative classroom projects, enhance learning opportunities for students, and reward outstanding teachers in Halifax County. Awards will range from a minimum of $50.00 - $500.00. Any current full-time teacher in the Halifax County Public Schools may apply for funding. Applications must be returned by September 15, 2009.
