[Jan/18/2010] Tickets For County 5th Graders
HCMS will send tickets to all County 5th graders to attend a basketball game between HCMS Lions and Park View Middle on Monday, January 25, 2010 at 5:45 PM. Please come out to support the Lions Basketball team.

[Dec/07/2009] It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas
Join the Halifax County Middle School Bands and Choruses as they usher in the Christmas spirit through music.
Night Concert is Tuesday, December 15, 2009, at the Halifax County High School Auditorium from 7:30 – 9:15 P.M. This concert is open to the public free of charge. We’d love to see you there.
Day Concert is Thursday, December 17, 2009, in the gym of Halifax County Middle School. The 6th graders and our guests, the 5th graders, will be entertained at 9:30 A.M. The 7th and 8th graders will hear the concert at 1:30 P.M.

Book Fair will be available for Halifax County Middle School students November 30 - December 11. Parents night is December 8th from 4-6PM.

The Smart Lab classes at the Middle School will be creating short videos in class Oct. 26th - 30th. The Movie Premier will be held at 9:30 am at the Prizery on Oct. 31st.

[Jul/27/2009] Teacher Mini-Grants - Apply Now!
The Halifax County Public Schools Education Foundation MINI-GRANTS FOR TEACHERS program is used to fund innovative and creative classroom projects, enhance learning opportunities for students, and reward outstanding teachers in Halifax County. Awards will range from a minimum of $50.00 - $500.00. Any current full-time teacher in the Halifax County Public Schools may apply for funding. Applications must be returned by September 15, 2009.
