Mr. Robert Clowdis from Woodman of the World Lodge 136 in Hunting Creek awarded three students with $25 for winning the patriotic art contest. All the other students who participated received a small American Flag.

Wendy's Night for Caroline Laughorn on November 5, 2009 from 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. Caroline is in the 3rd grade at Scottsburg Elementary School. Caroline, age 9, was diagnosed with Pre-B ALL Leukemia on May 1, 2009.

Indent-A-Kid will be at Scottsburg Elementary On Thursday November 5, 2009 From 9:30 to 10:30. Indent-a-Kid is the child rescue identification program. Ident-A-Kid will photograph, fingerprint, weigh and measure your child.
