[Jan/30/2010] SJES Variety Show Coming March 25, 2010
Faculty and staff at Sydnor Jennings Elementary School will perform their Variety Show on Thursday, March 25 at 7:00 P.M. Tickets for the show will go on sale Monday, February1, 2010. Adult tickets will be $5.00 and tickets for children under the age of 12 will $2.00. Our PTO will be selling hotdogs at the show. More details and information will be coming as the big night approaches.

[Oct/27/2009] Sydnor Jennings Will Honor Veterans
On Tuesday, November 10 the students at Sydnor Jennings will put on a "Veterans Day Program" in honor of those that serve in the armed forces. Those honored are family members of our students, faculty, staff, or community. Invitations will be sent to the Veterans as the lists of names are given to our representatives in charge. Veterans from the past and present will honored with a light dinner and then a program that will be presented by our students, school faculty, and parents of our students. More details will be posted as this important date draws closer.
[Oct/24/2009] Parade of Costumes at Sydnor Jennings
Sydnor Jennings' halls will be filled with unique, ghost & gobblins of all sizes on Friday, October 30. Students from Pre-K through 5th grade will be able to participate in the parade as their costumes are judged. Students from each grade level will have an opportunity to display their costumes as they march the halls to music and wave to on-lookers. It will surely be a afternoon of fun for students and teachers.
[Oct/15/2009] Spirit Boosting Kickball Game @ SJE
A Spirit lifting kickball game between teachers and 5th grade students will take place at Sydnor Jennings on Monday, October 19. The game will surely be filled with excitement, fun, laughs and a variety of skills will be on display. Our Spirit Committee's goal is to boost moral, show school spirit, and show students the positive effects of team work and to display how strong we are as a school if we work together.
