In today’s world, schools are expected to perform innumerable tasks to meet requirements and standards. Elementary schools are recognized as one of the first institutions, outside of the family, to shape and mold young minds in preparation for a bright future.

Clays Mill is committed to that first step in helping to build a strong foundation for each child to reach his/her highest level attainable. We are dedicated to creating a positive learning environment with high expectations to challenge young minds to acquire a quest to fulfill a productive role as a responsible citizen in our society.

Our mission is to provide a supportive, challenging, and safe educational environment to insure that each student has the opportunity to become a lifelong learner who is a responsible member of the changing society.

Clays Mill Elementary is located on Clays Mill School Drive (Route 612) just off Clays Mill Road (Route 610). The current composition of our student body includes kindergarten through grade five. Also, there is a Title 1 pre-kindergarten program which implements a modified version of the High Scope curriculum for four-year olds. Special education consists of Early Childhood Special Education for two through four-year olds, Learning Disabled, Trainable Mentally Disabled, and a Speech and Language program.
