The Halifax County Public School Division is accepting bids for heating fuel oil, propane, diesel fuel, and unleaded regular gasoline. Bids are due at the Prince Edward County Public Schools Board Office (mailed or delivered) no later than 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, June 5, 2024. Envelopes containing bids must have the statement, “Fuel Bid”, written on the outside of the envelope and they must have the name of the bidding firm stated in the return address portion of the envelope. Bids must be addressed to Virginia Jones, Supervisor of Finance, Prince Edward County Public Schools, 35 Eagle Drive, Farmville, VA 23901. Bids will be opened on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at 10:00 am, at Prince Edward County Schools Board Office, 35 Eagle Drive, Farmville, VA.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, 10:00 a.m., at the Prince Edward County Public Schools Board Office, 35 Eagle Drive, Farmville, VA.
