The Region 8 Public School Divisions listed below are accepting bids for heating fuel oil, propane, diesel fuel, and unleaded regular gasoline. Bids are due at the Prince Edward County School Board Office (mailed or delivered) no later than 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 3, 2025. Envelopes containing bids must have the statement, “Fuel Bid,” written on the outside of the envelope and they must have the name of the bidding firm stated in the return address portion of the envelope. Bids must be addressed to Virginia Jones, Supervisor of Finance, Prince Edward County Public Schools, 35 Eagle Drive, Farmville, VA, 23901.
Bids will be opened on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 10:00 am, in Room 151 at Prince Edward County Middle School, 1603 Zion Hill Road, Farmville, VA 23901. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025, 10:00 a.m., at the Prince Edward County Schools Board Office in the Conference Room, 35 Eagle Drive, Farmville, VA 23901. Bids must be submitted on the bid forms provided by the school systems.
