Pursuant to Code of Virginia §§ 22.1-92 and 15.2-2506, the Halifax County School Board will hold a Regular Monthly Meeting and Public Hearing on the FY 2026–2027 School Budget on Monday, July 13, 2026, at the Halifax County High School Auditorium, 1 High School Cir, South Boston, VA 24592. The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m.
The advertised FY 2026–2027 School Budget totals $103,347,808 in revenues and $103,347,808 in expenditures. Anyone wishing to speak during the public hearing will be asked to sign in and provide their physical mailing address. Public remarks must be limited to three minutes or less.
