Attendance Matters!
If students miss 10% of the school year, they are considered chronically absent.
Interim reports for the first nine weeks are available for viewing on the Campus Portal. If you need assistance with the portal or need a paper copy of the report, please contact your child's school.
Too many absences can keep students from succeeding in school. If students miss 10% of the school year, they are considered chronically absent.

Did you know If a student is absent 10% or more of the school year, it is considered chronic absenteeism? Ten percent is 18 days per school year or an average of two days a month.
The Halifax County School Board will meet Monday, September 11, 2023 at 6:00 PM at the Mary Bethune Office Complex Public Meeting Room. The open session of the meeting will also be available on YouTube at the following link:

All schools and offices will be closed on Monday, September 4, 2023 in observance of Labor Day.
