Bristle Bots

Students in Mrs. Tepper's 5th grade classes at Cluster Springs Elementary used their engineering skills and knowledge of circuits to design a Bristle Bot. In this activity, students attached a vibrating motor to a toothbrush head and wired the motor to the battery in order to activate the Bristle Bot. The purchase of STEM materials was funded through a Mini-Grant from the Halifax County Public Schools Education Foundation. The Mini-Grant was awarded to Mrs. Susan Elliott, Elementary ITRT, for the project titled: Getting Bristley.
