Mr. Layne’s 7th and 8th grade students recently completed a unit based upon the artist Robert Indiana and his famous “LOVE” design. Students chose a word and presented it as an abstracted design or illustration inspired by Indiana’s work. Markers and paper for the project were purchased using a teacher mini-grant awarded by the Halifax County Public Schools Educational Foundation.
