Halifax County Middle School does NOT collect all student Chromebooks and chargers at the end of the school year. However, students are asked to return devices if:
If a student will not be attending HCMS or HCHS during the next school year, they are asked to turn in their Chromebook & charger before or on their last day of attendance.
If a student has a broken device that needs to be fixed over the summer, they are asked to turn in their Chromebook & charger before or on their last day of attendance.
If a student or parent is uncomfortable with the student keeping the Chromebook over the summer, they are asked to turn in their Chromebook & charger before or on their last day of attendance.
*Due to SOL testing, we ask that those items be returned to the Library before 8:30 AM or after 2:30 PM. Again, Halifax County Middle School does NOT collect all student Chromebooks and chargers at the end of the school year.
