Congratulations to Mrs. Kristy Satterfield, the 2022- 2023 Teacher of the Year at Scottsburg Elementary. Mrs. Satterfield has taught at Scottsburg Elementary for 21 years in various grade levels. She is currently teaching fifth grade. Mrs. Satterfield makes learning exciting by changing up the class's routine. She makes sure her students are okay emotionally and physically. She does everything in her power to get her students to master skills on grade level. Mrs. Satterfield tries to find the latest books and interests to inspire learning in her fifth graders. Mrs. Cowan, the principal, stated that she is so proud to have Mrs. Satterfield represent Scottsburg Elementary as the Teacher of the Year.
