On Wednesday, October 25, 2023, HCPS will have an Asynchronous Learning Day for our students as teachers and parents meet for conferences. Conferences will be held between the hours of 8:00 AM and 3:30 PM. Your child’s teacher may have reached out to you to set up a scheduled conference time or you may drop in to your child’s school during these hours. This Asynchronous Learning Day is a remote learning day at home for all of our students and is still considered an instructional day. Students will be expected to complete activities during this remote learning day in order to receive credit (elementary students should turn in assignments the next day and secondary students should submit them online or turn them in the next day). School staff will be available during the hours of 8:00 AM and 3:30 PM to answer questions by phone or email, if needed. Also, breakfast and lunch will be available to all students. These food items will be sent home with students on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.
