Halifax County Public School Board is currently accepting Competitive Negotiable Proposals for their Supplemental Insurance Programs that are set to become effective from July 1, 2024. The Benefits Committee of Halifax County Public Schools would like to evaluate the benefit options and rates provided by different insurance programs, including the current Colonial Life program. If you are interested in participating in our solicitation, you are requested to send five (5) complete copies of your ORIGINAL OFFER marked as "Group Health Insurance Proposal" to Dr. Karen Bucklew, Director of Finance, Halifax County Public School Board, 1030 Mary Bethune Street, Halifax, Virginia 24558.
Please note, that all proposals must reach Dr. Bucklew's office in Halifax no later than 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. Also, keep in mind that Halifax County Public School Board will not be liable for late proposals received via the United States Postal System or other delivery services. Proposals received after 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, will not be considered.
EXTENSION OF DEADLINE FOR SUPPLEMENTAL INSURANCE (Edited 3/22/2024)
Halifax County Public Schools is hereby extending the due date for proposals for supplemental insurance coverages to March 27, 2024 at 10 AM at their administrative offices in Halifax, Virginia. All proposals that have been received prior to the original deadline of March 19, 2024 will be considered while other vendors may submit their proposals on or before 10 AM on March 27, 2024.
