There will be a joint Facilities Committee Meeting on Monday, July 28, 2025 at 10:00 AM. The meeting will be held in the Superintendent's Conference Room in the Mary Bethune Office Complex. It is located at 1030 Mary Bethune St., Halifax, VA 24558.

New SUN Bucks cards are on the way for automatically enrolled households! Please note that your benefits will not become available on SUN Bucks or SNAP EBT cards until July 18, even if you receive a SUN Bucks card in the mail before that date. Benefits will continue to be issued on a rolling basis, so households can expect to receive their SUN Bucks cards at different times.

Second Lady Usha Vance has invited K-8 students to participate in the Second Lady’s 2025 Summer Reading Challenge. Joining is easy: Read 12 books of your choice between June 1 and September 5 and track your progress on the official reading log. Students who complete the challenge with parent/guardian input can earn a personalized certificate and a small prize.
