Winter break for students will be December 23, 2024 - December 31, 2024. The New Year’s holiday is January 1, 2025. January 2, 2025 and January 3, 2025 are professional development/teacher workdays. Students return to school on Monday, January 6, 2025.

EGP Mystery Day was held for third grade EGP students on October 25, 2024. The event was in collaboration with the South Boston Police Department. Sergeant Carswell and Investigator Collie worked with the students to explain the roles of a detective and how they collect evidence in a safe and efficient manner. Later the students had to use their logical, analytical skills to solve the mystery menu, and then they could select five items to order of their choice or what they thought it was. It was a fun day filled with many hands-on learning opportunities. Click on the link below to view more pictures.
