Solar Eclipse
In Mr. Martin's fifth grade classroom at Cluster Springs Elementary, students embarked on an engaging exploration of the solar eclipse phenomenon. Through interactive activities, they crafted solar eclipse glasses for the Dash robot using LEGO materials. With Mrs. Elliott's guidance, they then utilized Blockly, a visual coding platform, to program the robot's movements. Additionally, students were tasked with recording factual statements about the solar eclipse and coding the robot to articulate them. This multifaceted approach not only deepened their understanding of scientific principles but also cultivated their creativity and problem-solving skills in the fields of technology and engineering.
