Students in Mrs. Grant's kindergarten class enjoyed a coding lesson with Mrs. Lewis and her Ozobots! Students wrote their last name and the bots traced their names, showing the letter formation! Students then created their own mazes for the bots to trace. It was such a fun afternoon!







We did it!! Our Book Fair was a huge success and one our students will
always remember! Thank you for making our Book Fair amazing and creating memories that will last a lifetime!

Our PK3 class enjoyed making 3D turkeys after gathering around and sharing who and what they are thankful for. They would like to wish you all a blessed and safe holiday .

World Kindness Day is a day to highlight good deeds in the community focusing on the positive power and the common thread of kindness for good which binds us. Kindness is a fundamental part of the human condition which bridges the divides of race, religion, politics, gender, and location.

Students in Mrs. Grant's kindergarten class at Clays Mill Elementary enjoyed a coding lesson with Mrs. Lewis today. Students had to code the mouse to find the cheese located on different Halloween pictures. Students enjoyed learning how to code the mouse and then even pretended to be robots themselves!





Mrs. Davis, Miss Vickie, Ms. Reid and Ms. Buster's class had fun making pumpkin masks and painting festive Halloween pumpkins.


After reading the book "Froggy's Halloween" in the library this week, kindergarteners made their own Halloween face masks.



Third graders in Mrs. Powell, Mr. Nunn, and Mrs. Harvey's class at Clays Mill explored modeling multiplication with groups of Smarties to relate to repeated addition and writing facts.

Mrs. Green's class enjoyed learning about spiders in the library today. After reading the book "The Diary of a Spider", they used push pins to punch out a spider web on paper.

Clays Mill recently held a fall fundraiser. Briggs Crenshaw and Mehki Cross were awarded money as the two top sellers. Thanks to all who participated.
