Free Summer Meals
Ms. Hollis's kindergarten class at Meadville Elementary constructed chairs after listening to Goldilocks and the Three Bears. They built houses using cardboard, Legos, popsicle sticks, tape, and other materials in the STEM cart. Students tested their chairs to see if they would hold the characters.

5th grade girls at Meadville Elementary School completed the Girls Who Code program. As members of the club, they learned the Girls Who Code technology and computer science curriculum and coded using Scratch and other plugged and unplugged coding activities. The girls read the book, Learn to Code and Change the World. Susan Elliott, Elementary ITRT and facilitator of the program, presented the girls with certificates to wrap up the year.
