Students in Mrs. Pamela Blanks’ fourth grade class at Scottsburg Elementary did a fantastic job creating and presenting their 4-H Presentation Projects. Once topics were selected, the fourth graders completed research and organized the information. They then designed a creative display or created a PowerPoint presentation to showcase what they had learned and used their public speaking skills and confidence to stand in front of their classmates to present this information.

At Scottsburg Elementary, Mrs. Khaela Powell, Instructional Technology Resource Teacher (ITRT), guided third grade students on an immersive virtual field trip to Ancient Egypt and Ancient China. Students enjoyed using technology to "visit" these countries and learn more about the history, geography, and culture without leaving the classroom.

Scottsburg Elementary Book Fair Week is February 23rd - 27th!

This Valentine’s season, remind your child that what they share online lasts longer than candy hearts! Even if something is deleted, unkind words or images can stay online and continue to hurt others.
✨ Tech Tip:
Encourage your child to spread kindness online by sending a positive message or compliment to a friend, classmate, or family member.
Remind them that small, kind actions online can brighten someone’s day—just like a real-life Valentine!

💖 Remember:
Digital footprints last forever, but so does kindness. Let’s fill our feeds with encouragement, positivity, and love this month!
