At Scottsburg Elementary, the fifth grade students in Ms. Roller's class recently learned about the United States. Students were given the opportunity to select a state and complete research on that state. Research items included the state's geography, state symbols, government, and other interesting facts. Students then got creative and constructed a parade float to display all they had learned about the state. On February 3, the hallways were lined with students, faculty, and staff to view the 2025 Fifth Grade State Project Parade. The fifth graders with pride enjoyed marching and displaying their state projects while everyone clapped and admired all the state floats as the parade passed by.
