Students in Mrs. Newbill’s 2nd grade class recently had the opportunity to turn in their book tokens for a brand-new book. Students earned tickets and Dojo points by demonstrating good behavior, turning in graded folders, working hard, staying on task, and completing their homework. They also received tickets for participating in class and showing positive behavior in the hallway. Hard work pays off!

Ms. Snead’s class turned their literacy lesson into a high-tech adventure today. Using the Sphero indi robots, students practiced their beginning sounds by "driving" their robots using logic and color codes.

When the sound and the code matched, indi was off to the races! It’s amazing to see how our students use technology to strengthen their reading skills.
