Kindergarten scholars explored making teen numbers using base-ten blocks. Scholars enjoyed this hands-on activity.
Kindergarten scholars in the 21st Century After school program used Valentine candy hearts to practice their decomposing or subtraction skills. Each scholar had to model the story problem given by the teacher or a friend with hearts to find the answer.
