Kindergarten scholars in the 21st Century After school program used Valentine candy hearts to practice their decomposing or subtraction skills. Each scholar had to model the story problem given by the teacher or a friend with hearts to find the answer.

The Halifax County School Board voted last night to make the originally scheduled early release dates of March 19, 2026 and April 3, 2026 full instructional days.
