Reminders

Simple machines, BIG ideas! 💡 3rd grade scholars in Mrs. Waller’s class are "pulling" their weight and "leveraging" their new science skills at today’s learning stations. We love seeing that hands-on curiosity! ⚙️🏫
Science has never tasted so sweet! ☀️🍫 Mrs. Benson and Mrs. Cash’s kindergarten scholars took their learning outside today to harness the power of the sun. Using a solar oven, they turned solar energy into delicious s'mores! We’d say this experiment was a "glowing" success. 😋✨
When the whole school turns into a storybook! 📚✨ From our scholars and staff to our special guest, Superintendent Representative Mrs. Runion, we’re enjoying Read Across America Week. Literacy is a team sport, and today, they came to play! 🎩🎭
"From hats that are tall to characters small, we had a blast celebrating them all! 🎩📚 Our staff and scholars pulled out all the stops for Read Across America Week by dressing as their favorite storybook icons. Can you guess who’s who?"
A massive thank you to our School Board Representative, Mrs. Runion, for stopping by to share a classic with our scholars today! 🎩✨ There’s nothing quite like the magic of The Cat in the Hat to get our students excited about the power of reading.
🐻 Keeping Our Bears Cool!
Our scholars soaked up some knowledge (and a little vitamin D) while exploring the power of the sun! We’ve been investigating how the sun warms the Earth and why finding a spot in the shade makes such a difference on a hot day. ☀️🌡️
To put their learning into action, our engineers worked in teams of three to design and build custom shade shelters for their bear friends. Check out these future architects in action!

🍀 🌈Finding Digital Gold – Smart Internet Searching🌈🍀
Not everything online is as good as gold — especially on social media! This month, focus on helping your child become a smart digital detective. Teach them to pause, think, and check before they believe or share something they see online.
✨ Tech Tip:
Encourage your child to double-check information by looking at more than one source. Talk about how likes and shares don’t always mean something is true.
For younger learners, guide them to kid-safe websites where they can explore and learn with confidence.
🌐 Helpful Websites:
PBS Kids – www.pbskids.org
National Geographic Kids – www.kids.nationalgeographic.com
Both offer fun, safe, and educational resources and videos for curious minds!
💚 Remember:
When kids learn to question, compare, and verify what they see online, they strike digital gold — building lifelong skills for safe and smart internet use!

A huge thank you to Mrs. Davis for stopping by our Kindergarten classrooms today! 💚 Our scholars loved hearing her read "Green Eggs and Ham." There’s nothing quite like a guest reader to make a classic story come to life! 📚✨"
PreK Screening - 3 Year Old Program

PreK Screening - 4 Year Old Program

"We would eat them in a house, we would eat them with a mouse! 🐭💚 Our scholars and staff went full 'Green Eggs and Ham' today to celebrate Dr. Seuss Week. From the outfits to the story, we’re seeing green everywhere!"
Digging deep into the core of learning! 🌎⛏️
Our 5th grade scholars have officially reached the center of the Earth. After weeks of researching the intense heat and pressure beneath our feet, they’ve debuted their 3D models of the Earth’s layers. From the crust to the inner core, these projects are absolutely "groundbreaking."

The future of space exploration is looking bright! 🚀✨
Our 4th grade scholars just finished their journey through the cosmos, and the results are truly out of this world. From the rings of Saturn to the red dust of Mars, these scientists put in the work to bring the solar system to life.
