Mrs. Wincey works with the teachers in their classrooms, sharing arts integration strategies, developing lesson plans, and interacting with children. Mrs. Wincey Teaching Artist works directly with educators and their students. Mrs. Wincey demonstrates best practices in arts integration and has coached the teachers as they lead arts-based lessons. This collaborative, hands-on approach ensures that teachers receive effective training for using the arts in their classrooms.
We would like to take this time and thank everyone for their participation this week during our book fair. It was a HUGE success!

It's been a CRAZY SOCK day here at SJES!!
This morning, the parking lot of SJES was filled with cars as grandparents came to school to have breakfast with their grandchildren. They also got the opportunity to visit the book fair with their grandchild to purchase books. We also had a special visitor during breakfast. The mascot of SOXDEO welcomed everyone with hugs and joy.
Kindergarten registration is being conducted at all elementary schools on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 and Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. If you have a child who will be five years old by September 30, 2024, please register the child at the elementary school in your school zone. You will need to bring your child’s birth certificate for registration.

Our fourth graders are on their way to becoming great authors. Each student spun the wheel to choose the topic they will be writing about. Eventually, this will be published into a book.
