Virginia Farm to School Week will occur October 2-6, 2023.
The Crunch Heard ‘Round the Commonwealth increases awareness of Virginia farm to school programs. To celebrate the event, our schools in Halifax County as well as many others across Virginia will simultaneously take a bite out of a Virginia grown apple. Together, we will make some noise for farm to school programs! The “Crunch” is held during Virginia Farm to School Week each year. The Crunch will take place on Thursday, October 5, 2023.

October 3, 2023 is the annual Pink Night Volleyball game. Please come out to support the Lady Comets and help the local Cancer Association. There will be a 50/50, silent auction, and recognition of cancer survivors as well as a serve-a-thon to win a t-shirt. Gates open at 5:00 PM.
Hope to see you there!
