Sinai Elementary's 4th graders recently took a field trip to Patrick Henry's Red Hill. The students were able to take a mini tour of the grounds, engage in Colonial games, visit the Blacksmithing workshop, learn important facts about Patrick Henry, and take a tour of his reconstructed home. At the conclusion of the tour, the students met a living relative of Patrick Henry. Students also visited the Patrick Henry burial site of Patrick Henry and some of his family members. The students enjoyed all the hands-on activities and learned a wealth of information.
