Students presented their projects to their classmates, telling about facts and interesting information that they learned.

Mrs. Powell's 3rd-grade students recently explored the exciting world of STEAM with a hands-on balloon-powered car challenge! Students built and tested their own cars, learning about engineering, force, and motion while unleashing their creativity. Through trial and error, they fine-tuned their designs to create the fastest racers.
This engaging activity was made possible by the Halifax County Public Schools Education Foundation, whose generosity continues to make a lasting impact on our students. Thank you HCPS Education Foundation for supporting innovative learning experiences! This activity was led by Christie Lewis, ITRT.
