Virginia Farm to School Week will occur October 2-6, 2023.
The Crunch Heard ‘Round the Commonwealth increases awareness of Virginia farm to school programs. To celebrate the event, our schools in Halifax County as well as many others across Virginia will simultaneously take a bite out of a Virginia grown apple. Together, we will make some noise for farm to school programs! The “Crunch” is held during Virginia Farm to School Week each year. The Crunch will take place on Thursday, October 5, 2023.

Too many absences can keep students from succeeding in school. If students miss 10% of the school year, they are considered chronically absent.

Below you will find a link to an application that you will need to print off for students planning on driving to school. Parents/Students may also stop by the main office to pick up an application as well. Parking passes will not go on sale until open house on August 16, 2023 from 12:30 PM-6:30 PM. This application must be completed in advance and returned when you purchase your parking pass. There are sections where parents and students will have to complete. If you don't have a form completed at the time of purchase then you will have to take a form, fill it out, and bring it back before we can issue one. We thank you in advance.
