The fifth grade students in Ms. Roller's class at Scottsburg Elementary had a great time being creative in making their very own instruments to go along with our unit on sound. To complete the project, the instruments had to represent three different frequencies/pitches. The students did a great job and even had the opportunity to share their talents while demonstrating how to play their instruments for the class.

Students at Scottsburg Elementary were surprised to have a special visitor come to their school before the winter break. A special thank you to Santa for taking time out of his busy schedule to come and visit. The students and staff were so excited to be able to see him this close to the holidays before he rushed off to the North Pole to prepare for his big night.

At Scottsburg Elementary, students received free books through the RIF Foundation, sponsored by Dollar General. During library class, each student chose a book to keep for their at-home libraries.
