The students did a great job and even had the opportunity to share their talents while demonstrating how to play their instruments for the class.

At Scottsburg Elementary, students in Mr. Conner's art class in third, fourth, and fifth grade had the opportunity to be creative and do a hands-on water density science lesson while creating colorful Christmas ornaments. Mr. Conner mixed the colors chosen by each student with water. As the paint floated on top of the water, the students had to follow the step-by-step instructions to complete the process of decorating the ornaments. Some students dipped their ornament directly into the water while the paint adhered to the ornament like glue. Some students even moved their ornaments in a circular motion in the water to create a swirling pattern. It was amazing to see the beautiful color designs making each ornament unique.

Mark your calendars for the upcoming events during the month of December at Scottsburg Elementary.
