Our 3rd–5th grade students got a boost of encouragement before testing week with a fun-filled celebration. They enjoyed a hilarious skit performed by our faculty and staff and cheered loudly as some of their favorite staff members took on a comical inflatable race!
We are so proud of our students and all the hard work they’ve put in. Sinai Eagles, we know you’re ready—now go out there and SOAR! ✨

As the weather warms up, it’s the perfect time to step away from screens and head outdoors! Encourage your child to find a healthy balance between technology and real-world play. Too much screen time can lead to tired eyes, restlessness, and less creativity—while fresh air, sunshine, and movement recharge both body and mind.
✨ Tech Tip:
Set a simple family rule: for every 30 minutes on a device, spend 30 minutes outside or doing a hands-on activity. Whether it’s riding bikes, drawing with sidewalk chalk, playing catch, or building something creative, this balance helps kids stay active and prevents technology from taking over their free time.
💡 Pro Tip:
Make it fun with a Family Balance Challenge! Track screen time and outdoor/creative time together. Celebrate when you hit your weekly goals with a special treat—like an ice cream night, picnic, or evening bike ride.
🌳 Remember:
Technology is a great tool, but real life happens off the screen. Finding time to unplug helps kids refocus, recharge, and make lasting memories outdoors! 🌞

We are so grateful to all of the families who took the time to participate and make this event such a success. Your involvement truly makes a difference in our students’ learning!
Thank you to Mrs. April Smith, Math Specialist, for her hard work and dedication in organizing such a wonderful event for our school community.
We would also like to recognize our amazing faculty and staff who helped run the games and activities throughout the evening—your time, energy, and teamwork made it all possible!
Together, we share the same goal: helping our Eagles soar to success! 🦅

If you need a paper copy of the form, please contact the main office at your child's school.

Kayden, Alaina, and Jace, thank you again for your leadership and for representing Sinai so well at our Night of Innovation. We are so proud of you and all you accomplished—keep soaring!

Spring is the perfect time to tidy up your child’s digital world! Just like cleaning a room keeps it healthy and fun, checking in on their online spaces keeps them safe and balanced.
✨ Tech Tip:
Take a few minutes each week to review your child’s apps, websites, and online conversations. Ask who they interact with and which apps they enjoy most. These quick check-ins help you spot issues early and encourage open, positive talk about responsible tech use.
🧹 Family Challenge:
Pick one day this month to “spring clean” together—delete unused apps, update passwords, and refresh privacy settings.
💻 Remember:
A little digital cleaning now helps your child’s online world stay safe, organized, and positive all year long! 🌼

We hope that you have a wonderful, safe break.

Sinai Elementary had a phenomenal showing at Halifax County Public Schools' Night of Innovation, and it is all thanks to three very special Eagles! 🦅
Under the guidance of Khaela Powell, ITRT, Kayden Womack, Alaina Chandler, and Jace Fallen served as Sinai Elementary's Technology Ambassadors and did an incredible job introducing audiences to the world of early coding. Using our small coding robots, they guided participants through coding with colors and helped them code their very own Easter Eggs — making technology fun, creative, and accessible for all!
We could not be more proud of the knowledge, leadership, and heart these three Technology Ambassadors brought to the event. Kayden, Alaina, and Jace, in true eagle fashion-you soared! 💻✨
