Teacher Mini-Grant - Mrs. Watts’ and Ms. Putnam’s class, from South Boston Early Learning Center, received a Teacher Mini-Grant titled "Everyone Can Cut" from the Halifax Education Foundation. This grant provided the classroom with a variety of adaptive scissors designed to support young learners as they develop fine motor skills. Adaptive scissors are specially designed to help preschoolers learn how to cut by improving finger placement, encouraging proper grip, and building hand strength and control. These tools are a valuable addition to the classroom, promoting independence and confidence as children work on essential early learning skills.
