Ms. Hollis's students explored our nation’s capital using ClassVR goggles after reading Monument City 📚✨. They took an immersive virtual tour of Washington, D.C., visiting iconic landmarks including the White House, Lincoln Memorial, Capitol Building, Washington Monument, the National Mall, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, and several war memorials🏛️.
This engaging experience brought history to life and deepened students’ understanding of our country’s landmarks and their significance.
👏 The lesson was facilitated by Mrs. Elliott, ITRT, and Mrs. Waller, LAN Manager.

Students of the Month for the month of October were: Xy’Lia Reed, Noah Armitage, Nathaniel Wotring, Dian Lopez, Owen Conner, Malakai Cook, Gregory Hackney, Kayona Fleming, Colton Smith, Emma Gentry, Breelan Rose, Wes Adams, and Brantley Moseley.

Our young scientists were thrilled to participate in a fun, festive STEM challenge where they made a balloon inflate—simulating the "growth" of the Grinch's heart—using a classic reaction: baking soda and vinegar! It was an unforgettable way to learn about chemical change and gas production.
