This week in Mr. Barksdale's STEM class, students learned about computer programming using Ozobots, pollination, and force and motion.


Faculty & staff wore red to support a co-worker and her family.

Kindergarten students conducted an experiment to see what would happen to a potato, banana, and an apple when it sits out over a period time. During the potato portion of this experiment, one was placed in water and one was not. Students will observe over the next few days to see what the out come is.











Ms. Covington's ECSE student used his skills to create truck art.


Mrs. Moser's Pre-K class learned about classical music by watching different scenes from "The Nutcracker."



Mrs. Moser's Pre-K students got a chance to use their Chromebook. They explored many different games and activities based on their curriculum.







Attendance Matters!
Did you know If a student is absent 10% or more of the school year, it is considered chronic absenteeism? Ten percent is 18 days per school year or an average of two days a month.


Ms. Doss's second grade class did a hands on science experiment talking about the life cycle of a butterfly.











Ms. Oliver's Kindergarten class used shaving cream to write out numbers and letters.









Ms. Dishmond's 5th grade students did a hands on science experiment on mixture and solution.
