Lego Learners in Mrs. Emerson's third grade class recently visited Mrs. Tingen's STEM lab to participate in a holiday Lego challenge. Students were given cards at random and when time was called students turned over their cards. Students then worked with a partner to create what they were assigned on their challenge cards.

5th Grade Sinai Scientists recently got to make their very one LED nameplates. They utilized their knowledge from the electricity unit to create their designs. Thanks to Hitachi for generously donating the kits!

Sinai PK3 students in Ms. Terry's class recently did a math lesson and incorporated making their own gingerbread house into the lesson!

Third grade students in Ms. Francis's homeroom recently engaged in a fun "cleanup" activity! They worked together to sort, separate, and study their Legos. The students sorted the Legos by color, making the process both organized and colorful.
While they were sorting, Mrs. Tingen encouraged them to study each Lego piece and transform it into something three-dimensional. The students showcased their creativity by building an ice skating park, a swimming pool, a 3D maze, and a Chinese tower. This hands-on activity allowed them to work together and explore their imaginative ideas!

As a reminder, all schools and offices will be closed on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 through Friday, November 29, 2024 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
We hope you have a happy and safe Thanksgiving!

The Sinai Lego Learners in third grade recently participated in an exciting Thanksgiving Challenge. . Working in pairs, they created an array of Thanksgiving-themed items, including turkeys, hats, turkey legs, and even a wishbone.
Additionally, the students built a replica of the Mayflower and constructed a village for the Pilgrims to celebrate the first Thanksgiving. This engaging activity allowed the learners to express their creativity while learning about the history and traditions of the holiday.
